Summer Day Camp

GET OUT and GET DIRTY with Tree Frog Treks!

From our base camp in Golden Gate Park we will hike outdoors, meet live animal ambassadors, do hands-on activities including science, art, games, and songs. Tree Frog Treks makes science come alive, and your child will make new discoveries every day in our outdoor laboratory -- nature! Sharpen observation skills, search the sky, look for clues, smell the roses, and charge up your curiosity! Learn about marvelous nature right here in the city, gaining knowledge about local flora & fauna like hawks, slugs, salamanders and more. Come out and get eye to eye and toe to toe with your favorite Tree Frog Treks animals, like Jake the Corn Snake, Savannah the Monitor Lizard, and Neptune the Blue-Tongued Skink! We also have one of the best Counselor-to-Student ratios around, at no more than 8 to 1, which ensures your child won't get lost in the crowd!

With ten weeks of fun and adventure to choose from, your future scientists can sign up for one or more weekly sessions. So grab your back pack, put on your hiking boots, and let’s get trekking!

Here's what to do:

• Make sure one of your children is registered for four sessions of camp total. Each child must be registered for four weeks.

• If you've registered for some camp sessions already, just make sure you've signed up for four sessions total. If you've already registered for four sessions, that's great!

• Don't pay online yet! Once you've registered a child for four sessions, call us at (415) 876-3764 and let us know you'd like your fourth session free!
  

This deal is only good through the end of May 31st, 2012. You must register for all four sessions by the end of May 31st and contact us by then to get your fourth week free.

Dates & Themes

Times & Age Groups

Early care is available both sessions, from 8:00-9:00 AM, for an additional $60/week.

After Care is now available for our Half-Day Campers (Little Explorers and Junior Explorers) from 1:00-4:30 PM for an additional $180/week.

After Care is also available for Full-Day Camp, from 4:30-5:30 pm for an additional $60/week.

Directions, Drop Off & Pick Up Location
Our Golden Gate Park Base Camp is located at the 14th Avenue East Meadow on JFK Drive, just west of the Rose Garden. See map below.

Piedmont Camps

Find us in the East Bay in Piedmont Park!  Sessions are from July 16 - 20 and 23 -27. For more information and to register with Piedmont Rec, go to Piedmont's Recreation Dept.

Friends School Camp

We are partnering with SF Friends School to hold a camp there from July 9 - 13.  Registration is being done through their site.

Ashland Camp

Mr. Science (Chris Giorni) & Dr. Frankenstein (Alan Parowski) will be leading one week of Tree Frog Treks Camp in Ashland's Lithia Park from August 20 - 24!  Come see the animals and have fun!  9:30 am - 1:00 pm, for children grades K-3.  $245 for the week. We are currently trying to secure a site (Lithia Park).  Register here!
