Summer Day Camp

GET OUT and GET DIRTY with Tree Frog Treks!

June 14 - August 13, 2010
Golden Gate Park, Marin & East Bay

At Tree Frog Treks, we celebrate summer the way it should be: by climbing trees, tumbling down sand dunes, exploring caves, jumping in mud puddles, building forts, picking blackberries, making messes, and  catching frogs (and putting them back)!  With several field trips each week and the Bay Area as our backyard it's a summer your child will cherish forever! 

Each week we will:

• Go hiking, play games, sing songs, make art, and explore the outdoors. 
• Meet and greet rescued reptile and amphibian animal ambassadors like Savannah the Monitor Lizard, Julie the Burmese Python, Trucker the Sulcata Tortoise, and over 100 others!
• Create hands-on science experiments like launching handheld rockets and making test tube lava lamps!
• Discover what's in our backyard by plunging into swamps and streams and forests and tidepools in search of wildlife with Mr. Science and his crew of experienced naturalists!

ALL DAY!  ALL SUMMER!  With 9 incredible weeks – a different adventure every day – this is going to be one incredible summer!

FULL-DAY CAMPERS - $399 Per Week (kids entering 1st through 6th grade)
This summer's camp is better then ever!  With different daily themes,  4 field trips each week resulting in 36 unique experiences, 9 onsite day project extravaganzas, this is going to be one camp to remember.  We will visit places such as Lands End, China Beach, Stern Grove, Fort Funston, Presidio Park, Yerba Buena Gardens, and the Sutro Baths in many cases taking MUNI or BART each day returning to base camp in Golden Gate Park.

HALF-DAY CAMPERS - $299 Per Week (kids entering pre-k and kindergarten)
At our half-day summer camp, kids will enjoy the wonders that Golden Gate Park has to offer.  They will explore Stowe Lake, the waterfall, Redwood Grove, and the Prehistoric Pond.  Each day they will take small daily hikes, meet our critters, and create amazing science and art projects.  With different daily activities your kids will have a unique experience each day.  (Please note that half-day campers will not be taking public transportation to get to their destinations.)
