Animals available for adoption

Tree Frog Treks is dedicated to the well-being of animals and the importance of responsible pet ownership. Our adoption program not only provides loving homes for animals in need but also promotes education and awareness about the importance of conservation and respecting wildlife.

Each animal undergoes a thorough health assessment and behavioral evaluation to ensure they are ready for adoption and will thrive in their new environment.

Adopting an animal from Tree Frog Treks provides a second chance for animals that may have been neglected or abandoned, giving them the opportunity to live happy and fulfilling lives in loving homes. Secondly, it helps to reduce the demand for wild-caught animals as pets, which have detrimental effects on wild populations and ecosystems. By adopting from us, individuals can contribute to the conservation of species and promote ethical pet ownership practices.

Furthermore, this process provides an educational opportunity for individuals and families. We offer guidance and support to ensure that adopters have the knowledge and resources they need to properly care for their new pet. Through educational programs and workshops, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of animals and their habitats, encouraging empathy, respect, and stewardship for the natural world.

Cuban false chameleons

We’re excited to introduce you to two of our treasured and most charismatic residents at Tree Frog Treks – a pair of Cuban False Chameleons! These quirky and fascinating reptiles are looking for their forever homes, and they can’t wait to meet you. Don’t let their name fool you – they’re not true chameleons, they are in fact a species of Anole. However, they sure do have some cool tricks up their sleeves! With their expressive eyes and calm demeanor, these reptiles are a delight to observe and care for. These two sisters, Gelato and Stracciatella, are almost a year old now, and though small, will grow to 6-7 inches long!

bearded dragon, “Khaleesi”

Bow down to her majesty – Khaleesi, the 12-year-old bearded dragon with a royal air and a heart of gold! Despite her fearsome name, Khaleesi is an absolute sweetheart and a pro at lounging around like the true queen she is. At her age, she’s seen it all – from ruling over her terrarium to winning over the hearts of everyone at Tree Frog Treks. Though she’s in her golden years, Khaleesi is still full of life and love to give! She’s looking for a forever home where she can bask in the glow of her subjects (that’s you!) and enjoy her retirement in style. If you're looking for a calm, experienced companion, Khaleesi is your dragon.

Corn snake, “morimoto”

Hold onto your hats – Morimoto, our 4-year-old albino corn snake, is as quick as he is curious! With his striking white and orange scales, he’s a showstopper, but don’t blink – you might miss him darting off to explore his surroundings. Having already fathered multiple clutches of babies, he is ready to settle down in a loving forever home. At a whopping 4 feet long, he is not aggressive, although his high energy and speed mean he’s not the easiest to handle. He prefers to be on the go, making him a perfect fit for someone who enjoys observing and engaging with a snake that’s always up to something. He’ll keep you on your toes – and you’ll love every second of it!
