Announcing Tree Frog Treks Weekend Treks!
We're excited to kick off our second Weekend Trek this March, a pilot program designed not just for adventure but to raise funds for the Los Angeles Community.
Our Commitment: 95% of all funds raised will provide critical support to the Inclusive Action Open Air Worker Emergency Fund and the Pasadena Humane Society's Emergency Fund. These funds are essential for addressing immediate community needs and aiding long-term recovery efforts from the recent wildfires devastating Southern California.
At Tree Frog Treks, our mission is to create fun, safe, and educational experiences for our youth and community, nurturing an appreciation for the natural world.
Weekend Trek Details: This camp mirrors our full-day camps, starting with campers gathering at Frog Hall, where they’ll meet our beloved Animal Ambassadors. From there, we’ll embark on an exciting adventure to a local point of interest!
Hours: 10 AM - 4 PM
Cost: At will payment in increments - 95% of funds for February and March Treks will be donated.
Campers will travel by foot, bus, or train, discovering the wonders our parks and city have to offer. A central aspect of this session will be engaging in a profound conversation circle about California's unique history with wildfires and understanding how our forests, plants, and animals have adapted to these changes.
Prior to the camp, we will provide detailed information regarding camp specifics and what to pack for your camper.
Join us as we support our community and explore the beauty of nature together!
